The activity formed part of the 2nd Year implementation of the Fight for OKSI Project, which aims to strengthen local enterprises through innovation, skills development, and value-adding initiatives.
Mr. Arvin Jonathan L. Flores and Ms. Joszel M. Cajayon served as resource persons and shared their expertise in meat and fish processing technologies, product development, and enterprise innovation. Through the training, participants enhanced their technical competencies and gained practical knowledge to improve the competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability of their businesses.

The BS in Information Technology Department conducted the 2-day program titled โ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ ๐.๐: ๐๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ก๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆโ in partnership with the Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office and the 1st Occidental Mindoro Provincial Mobile Force Company (OMPMFC) on May 21โ22, 2026 at Computer Laboratories 2 and 3 of OMSC San Jose Campus. The program strengthened the digital competencies of administrative staff and Police Non-Commissioned Officers through hands-on training in office applications, digital communication, records management, and cyber security awareness.
Mr. Ariel R. Manuel led the activity and guided the participants through practical technology-based administrative practices. The training gathered 74 personnel from the 1st and 2nd OMPMFC, 68th IB Philippine Army, RMFB, PNP-SAF, and BJMP. The initiative enhanced workforce readiness, improved operational efficiency, and supported digital transformation in public sector services.

The meeting was led by Dr. Ronaldo G. Orpiano, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension, Ms. Mary Yole Apple Declaro-Ruedas, Director for Extension and Technical Advisory Services, together with Pauline Angela S. Maglipon, Research Coordinator of D'Aboville Foundation, Karla S. Mangundayao, Policy Coordinator of MBCFI-TTwT, Sio-Ann S. Tapil, Capacity Development Coordinator of MBCFI-TTwT, Josiemay Salamanca of DENR-TCP, and Ms. Stiffany Lhyka Finez, Science Research Analyst of RDE. The consultation strengthened institutional partnerships and reinforced a shared commitment to sustainable and community-centered development initiatives.
