08 APRIL 2026 || BASIC FIRST AID AND BANDAGING TECHNIQUES TRAINING AND SEMINAR

Bureau of Fire Protection R5, San Jose Fire Station operation personnel led by SFO2 Jonathan L Boncodin, Officer-In-Charge conducted lectures and demonstrations on basic first aiding techniques training and seminar titled: "SAFETY FIRST: Ready, Respond, Recover - Disaster Prepareness" to Partido State University, College of Agribusiness and Community Developmen, Salogon Campus, , San Jose, Camarines Sur.

This activity aims to impart basic knowledge and skills to the community on how to deal and respond in case of emergency situation.

Day 8: DEPLOYMENT

In observance of the lenten Season, the personnel of BFP R5 San Jose Fire Station, led by SFO2 Jonathan L Boncodin, Officer-in-Charge, took posts as First Aid Service Team (FAST) conducted monitoring of coastal areas, motorist assistance and personnel visibility.

The BFP Oplan Semana Santa Deployment plays a crucial role in ensuring public safety during the observance of Holy Week, a period marked by increased travel, religious gatherings, and community activities. Through the strategic positioning of personnel and equipment in key areas such as churches, terminals, and tourist destinations, the Bureau of Fire Protection aims to prevent fire-related incidents, provide quick emergency response, and support local events. This initiative not only enhances public awareness on fire safety but also demonstrates the BFP's commitment to maintaining order and readiness during one of the country’s most observed religious traditions.
