7 days left before the school hallways become noisy again with kwentuhan, tawanan, and the famous “anong section mo?” question! Baka nga mamaya, imbis na classroom ang hinahanap mo, napa-Brazilian dance ka na lang kasama ang tropa sa hallway. As the vacation slowly comes to an end, the balik-eskwela feeling is getting more real day by day. From preparing school bags to checking uniforms again, another exciting school year is finally getting closer.

As we count down the remaining days, your SSLG family reminds everyone to slowly get back into their school routine. Sleeping earlier, waking up on time, and preparing ahead can help make the first day smoother and less stressful. One week left, Batang Tatak City High! The classrooms are waiting, the bells are almost ringing, and another school year is ready to begin.

The countdown is getting real. Balik-eskwela vibes are finally here! As the vacation days slowly come to an end, it is time to fix those body clocks, prepare our school essentials, and get ready for another school year filled with new lessons, memories, and experiences. Eight days may seem long, but time surely flies when pasukan season starts knocking at the door.

Before the school year officially begins, do not forget to enjoy the remaining days of your vacation. Take this time to unwind, recharge your energy, and cherish the remaining days of your vacation with your family and friends.

Before anything else, Brigada Eskwela is not just about sweeping floors or fixing classrooms. It is about showing care, responsibility, and school spirit as one community. As we get closer to School Year 2026–2027, this is our chance to come together again through bayanihan and prepare a space that is safe, clean, and ready for every learner. 🥰

The 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) invites students, parents, alumni, volunteers, stakeholders, and the whole community to take part in 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Every effort matters, whether big or small, because each one helps in preparing our school for the coming year. 🤗

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘. 𝐒𝐄𝐓. 𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐎𝐋! 𝐀𝐍𝐎, 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀? 🌱✨

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟐 marked the final chapter of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, where student leaders once again stepped into a space filled with learning, collaboration, and shared experiences. More than just another day of sessions, it became an opportunity for delegates to speak up, take initiative, and better understand the responsibilities that come with leadership and service.

The day began with a discussion by 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗭𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗔. 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, who talked about 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and the importance of creating spaces where young people can contribute, participate, and lead within their communities. This was followed by an inspirational message from 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼, who encouraged delegates to continue using their voices, ideas, and actions in serving others.

Energy filled the room during the 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 session led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗗. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀, where participants learned how confidence, preparation, and communication can help leaders connect with people and express ideas with purpose. Delegates were also introduced to 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲 through the discussion facilitated by 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿, where they explored the importance of structure, order, and fairness in organizational processes and decision-making.

The program also featured the oath-taking ceremony led by 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿 “𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻” 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮, marking another meaningful moment for the student leaders as they formally affirmed their commitment to service and leadership.

As the two-day journey came to an end, one reflection echoed throughout the program: “𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂,” encouraging delegates to continue growing through patience, hard work, and consistency even beyond the program.

And that’s a wrap for 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🌱 What started as a gathering of student leaders became a shared experience built on learning, teamwork, and growth. As the sessions conclude and the memories remain, one thing stays clear: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨, 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚, 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚, 𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐥. 𝐀𝐧𝐨, 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚? 🙌🏻💚

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 brought together student leaders from various schools and organizations for a shared space of learning, collaboration, and leadership development. The 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚), together with 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗕𝗞𝗗), 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀-𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗪.𝗔.𝗧.𝗖.𝗛 (𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆) of 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗦𝗝𝗖𝗡𝗛𝗦), joined the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 under the theme “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀.”

The program formally began with registration and opening activities, followed by messages from youth representatives, partner groups, and division officials who highlighted the value of responsibility, cooperation, and active participation in leadership work. A key moment of the program was the turnover of the 𝗚𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, held in support of 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗙𝗟𝗚) 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻, marking the transition of leadership to 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗱𝗮𝗰 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗙𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in discussions and activities centered on leadership growth and project development. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲 led a session on 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, focusing on clarity of communication, accountability, and purpose-driven service. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗗. 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝗡, followed with 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, guiding student leaders on how ideas are organized, structured, and carried out into real initiatives.

Further learning experiences included 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 with 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗚. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, where delegates worked on building practical and long-term community-centered ideas. This was followed by a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, allowing participants to collaborate, refine concepts, and present outputs in a structured and purposeful manner.

The program concluded with a discussion on 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗝𝗖𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗝𝗼-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 “𝗞𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗷𝗼” 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘀, emphasizing discipline, integrity, and consistency in leadership practice. Among his reflections, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗱𝗮𝗰 emphasized that “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆,” and that “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

More than gaining knowledge and skills, the first day of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗢𝗟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 became an opportunity for young leaders to build connections, strengthen teamwork, and turn ideas into action. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚, 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐢, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐎𝐋 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰. 𝐀𝐧𝐨, 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚? 🙌🏻💚

Last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) and 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗕𝗞𝗗) of 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 were invited to join the “𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: 𝗔 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽” held at the 𝟑𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. We learned from 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗬𝗖 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, whose discussion helped us better understand the role of the youth in community development. We also thank 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮, 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, and 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 for their presence and support for the youth. Through the workshop activities, we experienced working with different groups and learned that planning becomes stronger when people come together with one goal.

The SSLG Women’s Month Bookmark Competition opened the celebration by showcasing students’ creative designs that honor the strength, achievements, and contributions of women.
