May 26, 2026 | The Department of Agrarian Reform successfully conducted the Conference on Monitoring, Strategic Planning and Assessment with Catch-Up for the SPLIT Project cm Gender and Development (GAD) Mainstreaming.
The activity aimed to strengthen project implementation through progress monitoring, strategic planning, and assessment of ongoing activities under the SPLIT Project. It also emphasized the importance of Gender and Development (GAD) mainstreaming in promoting inclusive and responsive public service.
This conference serves as a platform for collaboration, evaluation, and alignment of efforts toward the effective and efficient delivery of services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office โ Occidental Mindoro, through the SPLIT Project Team, successfully conducted field operations in the Municipalities of Looc and Lubang in line with the continuous implementation of agrarian reform services and land tenure improvement initiatives.
Activities conducted include the Signing of Allocation Agreements, interviews for Environmental and Social Safeguards, coordination with Barangay Officials for lot verification based on tax mapping, servicing of notices for the reissuance of ODC, assistance in the conduct of subdivision surveys, and other related field activities necessary for the efficient delivery of services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).
Despite geographical challenges, the team remains committed to bringing government services closer to the people and ensuring the smooth implementation of the SPLIT Project in support of secure land ownership and sustainable rural development.

DARโProject SPLIT Conducts Re-Tooling Activity to Strengthen Implementation and Monitoring in Occidental Mindoro
SABLAYAN, Occidental Mindoro โ The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) through Project SPLIT successfully conducted a Re-Tooling on Project Implementation Issues and Concerns, Feedback Monitoring, and Parcelization Activity Tracking and Accomplishment Monitoring on March 18โ21, 2026 at Siburan Hall, Sablayan Municipal Building.
The activity gathered regional and provincial project teams, technical staff, and partner agencies to revisit current implementation strategies, address operational challenges, and reinforce monitoring mechanisms under Project SPLIT.
Discussions focused on updates in the parcelization component, tracking of accomplishments, feedback monitoring systems, and alignment of targets and strategies. Participants openly raised field-level concerns and shared best practices to improve coordination and efficiency in project delivery.
The re-tooling session served as a vital platform to ensure that implementation remains responsive, data-driven, and aligned with policy guidelines. It also strengthened collaboration among teams responsible for land parcelization and issuance processes.
Through this initiative, DARโProject SPLIT reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing land tenure security for agrarian reform beneficiaries by continuously improving systems, accountability, and service delivery mechanisms.

Batong Buhay, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro as part of the continuous implementation of land parcelization activities under the Project SPLIT.
Following the discussion and orientation, the team proceeded with the actual field survey to verify and identify land parcels in coordination with concerned stakeholders. After the completion of the survey activities, a Final Pulong-Pulong was conducted to present updates, clarify concerns, and discuss the next steps of the project implementation.
Through collaboration, consultation, and on-site validation, the Department remains committed to ensuring accurate land parcelization and strengthening land tenure security for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.

Following our initial pulong pulong, the DAR - Occidental Mindoro team hit the ground running in Brgy. Kurtinganan, Sta. Cruz to conduct the actual subdivision survey.
Our team is working closely with our Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to ensure every piece of data is accurate, bringing them one step closer to holding their individual land titles.
