As of 8:00 PM today, 09 October 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 10b) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is UNLIKELY to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA 10a) is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a LOW chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Lastly, a Typhoon with international name "KOGUMA" has entered the monitoring domain and is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan. Northeasterly Windflow affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon.
