We don’t just need awareness. We need a mindset shift.

Every child with autism deserves more than being β€œincluded.”
They deserve to be seen, heard, and respected, fully. 🀍

Dignity is simple, but powerful:
Talk to them. Respect them. Understand them.

Because thriving starts when we stop trying to β€œfix”
and start choosing to honor who they are.

If you believe every child deserves dignity, share this and help change how the world sees autism.

THE GREATEST LOVE

Kailey Pobre, a child on the Autism spectrum, singing with Vice Mayor Vanj Manugue during the Ausome Assemble is a powerful message and imagery - - that talent is universal and inclusive, and it is every person's right to be on their own spotlight.

This shows that VM Vanj, a renowned local leader and a tremendously talented singer, and Kailey, an Ausome kid with ausome dream and potential, can share a stage not for pity nor accommodation, but as two deserving performers -- because neurotypicals and neurodivergents can co-exist - and it is the greatest love of all.

We love you Ausome much!

'AUSOME ASSEMBLE' GATHERS PEOPLE, GRANTS

Ausome Jose Society's Ausome Assemble last April 18 turned up a collection of community sectors to further Neurodivergence awareness, acceptance, and action.

The event started with a motorcade from San Jose City National High School going to the program venue at Jesus Revival Church.

Ausome Jose Society Vice President Mhen Ramos welcomed everyone and reminded them that the quest for inclusivity does not end in the Ausome Assemble but rather a beginning to be inclusive in their daily lives.

Though absent due to illness, Ausome's Secretary, Gina Pobre extended a video message where she shared the struggles of Ausome Jose Society even on the brink of giving up and yet would still be resilient for the sake of neurodivergent loved ones.

Messages from stakeholders in the Ausome Jose Society, youth sector, national government, and local government were also shared.

Ausome Jose Society's President Atty. Christopher Pobre shared the stories on how neurodivergence should evolve and develop from awareness to acceptance then thereafter through actions. He emphasized the need of community involvement to support calls for the government for neurodivergence policies and action.

Sidha-San Jose City President Jason Muan, representing the youth, echoed the sentiment of Ausome Jose Society and called for the complete funding of the FRESNO CODE, a local ordinance providing programs and services for neurodivergents. He claimed that true inclusion is not only allowing neurodivergents to be 'part of the table' but should also be given the ample assistance to thrive.

Nueva Ecija Second District Representative Mario 'Kokoy' Salvador, representing the national government, extended appreciation to events like Ausome Assemble. He also encouraged parents and caregivers of neurodivergents to the path of acceptance by relating his personal experience with his child who is also on the Autism Spectrum, calling neurodivergent children as 'God-sent angels'. He also joined the call for FRESNO CODE funding and further pledged assistance to families with neurodivergent members.

Vice Mayor Vanj Manugue, representing the Local Government Unit, was also thankful to the Ausome events and its organization for being instrumental in the passing of the FRESNO CODE. She recognized that the ordinance is but a first step and committed to be always on the side of inclusivity not just as a public official but as a person who has always been with the Ausome Jose Society from the beginning.

Vice Mayor Vanj ended her message with a song duet with ausome kid Kailey Pobre, which draw awe and tears of emotion and joy from the crowd.

Awards and recognition were given to private individuals and institutions who are INCLUSIVITY CHAMPIONS, namely: the Manugue Family, SIDHA - San Jose City Inc., Max's Restaurant San Jose City thru Nina Alfonso-Ramos, Le Felize Victoria, MILESTONERS Learning Academy, and CHLC Therapy Center.

INCLUSIVITY PARTNERS plaques were also given to key government offices and officials for their constant support to the Organization (Vice Mayor Vanj as Sangguniang Panlungsod Chair, the Local Government Unit of San Jose City through Mayor Josel Violago, and Congressman Kokoy as member of the House of Representatives).

This is followed by a Ceremonial giving of GRANTS by Ausome's partners. The pledges include:

1 year of Therapy Scholarship Grant for one child courtesy of MIlestoners Learning Academy;

1 year of Therapy Scholarship Grant for 2 children from CHLC Therapy Center, and;

Quarterly Financial Assistance to listed neurodivergent persons facilitated through the House of Representative's Second District of Nueva Ecija funds and/or DSWD.

A pledge for neurodiversity awareness, acceptance, and action mas thereafter made by the attendees.

The event culminated with a message from Ausome Jose Society's Treasurer Jezreel Faith Manugue who lauded the participation of various people. She said that these efforts are beacons of light and encouragement to all of us and urged everyone for a continued and collective action towards inclusivity in neurodiversity.

Thank you to all who attended and supported Ausome Asssemble. We love You AUSOME MUCH!
