๐๐๐ฉ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ญ (๐๐) 9003, also known as the ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ญ ๐จ๐ 2000, provides the legal framework for solid waste management in the Philippines.
Under this law, waste is categorized into several types to promote proper management and disposal. The primary classifications are as follows:
1. ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐
โข Waste that can be processed and turned into raw materials for new products.
โข Examples: Paper, cardboard, metals, glass, and certain plastics.
2. ๐๐จ๐ง-๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐
โข These are materials that cannot be reused or recycled and have little recovery value.
โข Examples: Candy wrappers, Styrofoam, Dirty plastics, Cigarette butts, Disposable diapers and sanitary napkins
3. ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐
โข Waste that remains after the recycling and composting processes, often sent to landfills or disposal sites.
โข Examples: Non-recyclable and non-biodegradable materials, such as certain plastics, ceramics, and styrofoam.
4. ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐
โข Waste that requires special handling due to its hazardous nature.
โข Examples: Medical waste, batteries, electronics, used oil, pesticides, and chemicals.
This classification helps in organizing solid waste management, enabling proper segregation, collection, recycling, and disposal.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (๐๐๐๐๐) informs the public that the DUMPING BIN previously located in front of GUANZON MOTORCYCLE DEALER has been ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐.
The relocation was made due to concerns regarding the improper placement of garbage around the former bin location, where some waste was being left beside and outside the bin instead of being properly placed inside it. This resulted in garbage accumulating along the roadside and nearly obstructing a portion of the road lane, creating inconvenience for nearby residents and a potential hazard to motorists, pedestrians, and other road users.
๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐:
๐ Place all garbage INSIDE the designated garbage bin.
๐ Do not leave or pile garbage beside the bin or along the road.
๐ Keep roads and access lanes clear at all times.
๐ Practice proper waste segregation and disposal.
๐ Municipal constituents of San Manuel may also dispose of their garbage in the designated garbage bins located at different areas within the Poblacion.
Please make use of these designated disposal points and ensure that all garbage is placed properly INSIDE the bins.
