A significant step towards accessible and convenient banking services was marked today through the Official Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of the Veterans Bank ATM Facility located at the Municipal Grounds, San Miguel, Leyte. 🇵🇭💳

This initiative was made possible through the efforts and leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Norman D. Sabdao, in partnership with Veterans Bank, bringing financial services closer to the people of San Miguel.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Sangguniang Bayan Members, municipal employees, department heads, and invited guests who joined in celebrating this milestone project for the municipality.

Ms. Ailene Peleño-Campos, Branch Manager of Veterans Bank Tacloban, delivered her message highlighting the importance of accessible banking services and the bank’s commitment to serving the community.

To formally demonstrate the operation of the newly installed facility, Mayor Atty. Norman D. Sabdao personally made the first ATM transaction, symbolizing the beginning of faster, safer, and more convenient banking services for all San Miguelnons.

This new ATM facility stands as another milestone of progress, convenience, and improved public service in the Municipality of San Miguel.
