A proud and defining moment unfolded on May 28, 2025, at the JHCSC Gymnasium in Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, as 28 BSCE and 14 BSABE students from the School of Engineering and Technology of J.H. Cerilles State College participated in the Hard Hatting and Pinning Ceremony. With the theme, โEmpowering Students Through Real-World Experience,โ the event symbolized the studentsโ transition from academic preparation to professional readiness. One by one, students stood with pride as their mentors and faculty members placed hard hats on their heads; a powerful representation of responsibility, discipline, and readiness to face the challenges of the engineering and agricultural industries. At the same time, pins were carefully fastened to their uniforms, serving as emblems of dedication, identity, and commitment to their chosen fields. These ceremonial acts captured more than just tradition; they reflected the studentsโ perseverance, the support of the institution, and the start of their journey toward real-world application of their knowledge and skills. The hard hatting and pinning moments were filled with pride, emotion, and purpose;a true celebration of growth, transformation, and the future that awaits.
