HIV AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Theme: “Knowledge is Protection: Strengthening HIV Awareness Among the Youth”
Anapog Integrated School, through the leadership of the SSLG, successfully conducted the Heart to H.E.A.R.T. Talk, an advocacy campaign focused on promoting HIV awareness and adolescent health among students.
The session was conducted by our Peer Advocate, Mr. Ronclarck Dagohoy, who shared valuable insights and encouraged open, honest conversations among the learners. The activity provided a safe space for students to gain accurate information, ask questions, and better understand the importance of making informed and responsible choices.
With the belief that knowledge is protection, we remain committed to empowering the youth and strengthening HIV awareness in our school community.
Together, let us educate, empower, and protect our youth.

We are honored to have attended the 1st National Mental Health Conference held in Baguio City, joined by several of our youth leaders, our Peer Facilitators, and Sir Francis Olila from the MADAC office, who represented our municipality as official delegates to this significant national event.
The two-day conference was filled with learning, practical strategies, and meaningful discussions on how to address mental health challenges among adolescents and youth. It was both inspiring and challenging — a reminder that mental health is a priority and that our youth need programs that not only raise awareness but also provide real support for their silent struggles.
We are grateful for the participation of our Peer Facilitators, whose involvement ensures that our youth leaders are equipped to support their fellow adolescents and create a culture of empathy, understanding, and care.
Together, let’s help our young people overcome their silent struggles and build a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community.

Heart to H.E.A.R.T. Talk is a youth-centered advocacy campaign designed to openly and responsibly address the real-life concerns faced by adolescents today. The acronym H.E.A.R.T. represents the core issues tackled during the session:
H – HIV & Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
E – Early Sexual Encounters
A – Adolescent Sexuality
R – Reproductive Health
T – Teenage Pregnancy
Through honest conversations, interactive discussions, and peer education, the activity aims to equip young people with accurate information, life skills, and values formation to help them make informed and responsible decisions.
Another batch of immersion students from Lambusan National High School, Argawanon National High School, San Remigio National High School, and Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges actively participated in this meaningful initiative, showing strong support for adolescent health awareness.
The program was graced by our Municipal Administrator representing our supportive Municipal Mayor, Mariano Martinez, together with SK Federation President Stephan Isaac Baura. The session was facilitated by our Local Youth Development Officer Mr. Ronclarck P. Dagohoy and peer advocates from San Remigio Advocates and Leaders for Adolescent Health and Development (SALAHD), who continuously dedicate their time and expertise in guiding our youth.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Population Officer Designate and at the same time our Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Orleta B. Ursal, for her unwavering support and commitment to strengthening adolescent reproductive health programs in our municipality.
Held in celebration of Love Month, this activity promotes not only love in its romantic sense but responsible love, self-respect, and informed decision-making. Through Heart to H.E.A.R.T. Talk, we continue to empower the youth of San Remigio to become healthy, responsible, and resilient individuals. 💙
