๐๐ข๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ก๐๐ง๐ฌ | ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐๐ง ๐ฆ.๐.๐.๐.๐.๐. What if a coastal cleanup could do more than collect trash? PROJECT SALEDA challenges us to go beyond the usual, to clean, learn, engage, and act. ๐โป๏ธ
On September 19, 2026, JCI Cebu Lakan Bahaghari โ Batch Kaptan, together with the Municipality of San Remigio LGU and DENR 7 Central Visayas, takes action in Brgy. Anapog, San Remigio for a shoreline experience built around environmental action, community learning, partnership, and advocacy.
Together with the San Remigio Youth Development Office, MENRO, Barangay Anapog LGU & SK, Taรฑon Strait Protected Seascape Team, SWU PHINMA School of Design + Communication, and Seed4com - Sustainable Energy and Enterprise Development for Communities, we're creating a coastal initiative that asks a bigger question:
After we clean the shoreline, what happens next? Because protecting our seas isn't a one-day activity. It is a shared responsibility. A commitment. A way of life.
In participation and support of the International Coastal Cleanup Philippines by Ocean Conservancy and the National Clean Up Coalition Philippines , Project SALEDA is our challenge to ourselves and our communities: turn cleanup into learning, learning into ownership, and ownership into lasting action.
๐ SHORELINE ACTION. LEARNING. ENGAGEMENT. DEVELOPMENT. ADVOCACY.
This is Project SALEDA. And this time, we're not just cleaning the coast.
We're changing how we care for it.
๐ Want to be part of the movement?
Organizations, youth groups, schools, communities, and other groups who want to participate and make a difference are invited to join us!
Send us a message to learn how your organization can participate in Project SALEDA. Let's bring more hands, more hearts, and more action to the shoreline.
