PROJECT AGOS
The Project Agos is a youth-led empowerment initiative organized by PH-LEAD Inc together with Foundation for the Philippine Environment
The program believes in the idea of intergenerational responsibility and accountability in solving a complex problem or issue. The project aims to educate, organize, and mobilize young advocates to care for the environment by harnessing different approaches and creative methodologies that would allow critical discourse on biodiversity issues and concerns and come up with a platform for collective problem solving and decision making.
Aside from the youth, the project team also aims to involve community leaders, educators, and advocates in educating the people in the community about biodiversity conservation.
The Project Agos has three main pillars:
Daloy Pillar – A Filipino youth leader/advocate needs to be aware and conscious of environmental and biodiversity issues and concerns
Lagaslas Pillar – A Filipino youth leader/advocate needs to be critical to the issues and concerns of his/her environment and think of solutions that are sustainable and equitable for all)
Daluyong Pillar – A Filipino youth leader/advocate will exercise his/her rights and obligations to care for and protect the environment and biodiversity
