GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY | MAGSAYSAY LOCAL ACCESS ROAD
A significant milestone was marked in the Municipality of Santa Fe, Romblon with the successful conduct of the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction/Improvement of the Magsaysay Local Access Road, a project funded through the Local Government Support Fund–Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF).
The event was graced by DILG Regional Director Rey S. Maranan, CESO IV; Assistant Regional Director Juanito D. Olave, CESO IV; Provincial Director German F. Yap, CESO V; and dedicated engineers from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Also in attendance were the Municipal Officials and Department Heads of the Municipality of Santa Fe, who joined in marking this important step toward improved local infrastructure and accessibility.
Once completed, the project is expected to enhance road access to Guinbirayan while improving connectivity to the Sanitary Landfill and Municipal Evacuation Facility. Beyond improving mobility, the project will contribute to safer, more efficient, and more accessible public services for the community.
Funded through the LGSF-Growth Equity Fund, this project reflects the continuing efforts to support local infrastructure development and address the connectivity and service needs of communities.
This groundbreaking ceremony symbolizes our shared commitment to building better infrastructure, strengthening public service delivery, and creating safer and more connected communities for the people of Santa Fe.
