The Future Farmers of the Philippines Collegiate Chapter (FFPCC) and the Development Communication Society (DCS), in partnership with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), RHU Sta. Maria, Southern Ilocos Sur Medical Society, Philippine Red Cross–Ilocos Sur Chapter, and Judge Celestino Guerrero Memorial Hospital, successfully conducted a Bloodletting Activity on September 17, 2026, at the ISPSC To***co and Agricultural Research Center.

With 30 successful blood donors, this meaningful initiative demonstrated the power of compassion, volunteerism.

Project SAYOT Set to Empower Youth in Tangaoan, Sta. Maria

TANGAOAN, STA. MARIA, ILOCOS SUR —Project SAYOT, “Standing with Active Youth for One TIGNAY,” is set to be officially launched on September 20, 2026, in Tangaon, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur, marking a significant step toward strengthening youth participation and community engagement.

The project is spearheaded by Eagle Sct. Ahliana A. Escobar, TIGNAY Project Head, who serves as the project proponent. The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with PPSKTangaoan and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tangaoan, with TIGNAY serving as the implementing organization.

Project SAYOT is envisioned as an avenue for young people to become more actively involved in community initiatives, leadership, volunteerism, and activities that contribute to local development. Through the project, the organizers aim to encourage the youth to recognize their potential and take an active role in addressing issues and opportunities within their community.

The collaboration among TIGNAY, PPSK Tangaoan, and the LGUTangaonan highlights the importance of partnership in creating meaningful programs for the younger generation. By bringing together youth leaders, community stakeholders, and local government representatives, the project seeks to foster unity and collective action toward a stronger and more engaged community.

The launching ceremony on September 20 will formally introduce.
