𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞| 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐁𝐂𝐀 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚

Last February 28, 2025, at Victory Mall, Balibago Complex, the 𝙁𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣'𝙨 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘍𝘉𝘊𝘈) donated supplies and facilitated engaging activities for 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙨, children with high-risk disabilities.

This project set out to lift the spirits of these children and boost their morale, even if for just a day. It served as a reminder that others stand with them as they face their challenges.

A heartfelt 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐 to Sol Aragones, Kap Ian De Guzman, and Konsehal Lody Carta for their generosity and support in making this event possible. Your kindness has truly made a difference! 🙌✨

Last October 11, 2024, President 𝙔𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡 𝘿𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙯𝙢𝙖𝙣, Vice-President 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙙 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙤, and NAPC Council Member 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙤 attended a Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) meeting as child representatives alongside our dedicated community leaders.

In this important session, our representatives proudly shared the accomplishments the FBCA had, highlighting the teamwork and effort of the BCAs around Santa Rosa in creating projects for the children of our communities.

We are thankful for the continuous support of our local government and partners as we work towards a safer, more inclusive future for every child. And this is just the beginning—more exciting activities are on the way! 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚! 💡🤝

The organization was represented by 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 Ysabel De Guzman, 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 Mary Lourd Largo, and 𝘕𝘈𝘗𝘊-𝘊𝘉𝘚 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 Cassandra Largo at the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 on September 29, 2024, at Manila Prince Hotel.

During the youth congress, the representatives were able to listen to exemplary speakers talk about community issues such as: 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙘 𝘿𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨.

With many organizations present, it was a wonderful opportunity to network with other youth leaders who share the same advocacies and passion for community engagement.

The interview was led by 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮, a college student conducting an expert interview on a development-oriented topic. He has not only seeked a child's perspective, but an expert one as well. Thank you to everyone involved for making this discussion meaningful and impactful!

The Federated Barangay Children’s Association 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭– Ysabel De Guzman from Barangay Labas, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 – Mary Lourd Largo, and 𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫— Cassandra Largo from Barangay Tagapo, represent the children’s sector on the seminar entitled: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 (CPIE) in the City of Santa Rosa at Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas from September 4-6, 2024.

The said activity aims to:

1. Articulate the basic concept of a child, children's needs and child's rights in the context of Children in Emergencies.
2. Identify who are the children at risk and those who need priority or urgent assistance and/ or appropriate actions
3. Identify how to plan and reintegrate activities in budgeting of plans and activities for children related to emergencies.
4. Articulate the commitment in setting-up the Child Protection System and the localization of CERPA (CEPC) in the City of Santa Rosa.
