Brigada Eskwela 2026 Division Kick-Off!

The spirit of Bayanihan is alive and thriving as the Schools Division Office of Santa Rosa officially launches the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Division Kick-Off at Pulong Santa Cruz Elementary School!

Led by the Schools Division Office Top Management headed by SDS Hereberto Jose D. Miranda, CESO V, together with ASDS Dr. Elvira B. Catangay, SGOD Chief Jessie James E. Kingat, and CID Chief Dr. Luhinia M. Ofren, the event underscores the collective commitment of the education community and its stakeholders in ensuring that schools are ready for a productive, safe, and successful school year.

The activity is fully supported by Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas and Vice Mayor Arnold B. Arcillas, whose unwavering support and strong partnership continue to advance quality education and community development in the City of Santa Rosa.

Spearheaded by the creative and community-centered leadership of Sir Ronaldo Cambel, with the invaluable support of the SGOD Social Mobilization (SocMob) Team led by Sir Jason G. Sagaysay and Sir Floro L. Peria, the Brigada Eskwela Bayanihan Concept uniquely blended tradition and innovation. The team revitalized the Filipino spirit of Bayanihan through festive cultural expressions, artistic displays, and meaningful stakeholder engagement, transforming school preparation into a vibrant celebration of unity, volunteerism, and shared responsibility among partners, stakeholders, and the entire school community.

Adding vibrance and excitement to the celebration is the festive and artistic concept spearheaded by the generous School Head of Pulong Santa Cruz Elementary School, Sir Ronaldo Cambel, transforming the venue into a colorful showcase of unity, creativity, and volunteerism.

The event is further strengthened by the invaluable support of our education partners, including Toyota Motor Philippines, Enchanted Kingdom,UniLab, various Rotary Clubs, civic organizations, private institutions, alumni associations, community leaders, and numerous stakeholders whose generosity and dedication embody the true spirit of Bayanihan.

With the active participation of SPTA, SRCTA, parents, teachers, learners, partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and community members, the true essence of Bayanihan shines through—demonstrating that when communities work together, every learner benefits.

Today, the Schools Division of Santa Rosa City proudly join the nation in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and the observance of National Flag Days (May 28–June 12, 2026).

As we raise our beloved Philippine Flag, we honor the courage, patriotism, and sacrifices of the Filipino heroes who fought for our freedom and sovereignty. Their unwavering dedication reminds us that independence is not only a historical achievement but also a continuing responsibility entrusted to every Filipino.

The Philippine Flag stands as a powerful symbol of our nation’s unity, resilience, and hope. May this celebration inspire us to deepen our love for our country, uphold the values of freedom and democracy, and actively contribute to nation-building through integrity, service, and excellence.

The Santa Rosa City Wrestling Team from Region IV-A CALABARZON secured 3rd Overall in the Wrestling Team Classification at the Palarong Pambansa 2026, rising among 18 competing regions.

With every match, the Santa Rosa City Lions showed strength, discipline, and determination on the national stage, bringing pride not only to the City of Santa Rosa but also to the entire CALABARZON delegation.

A look back at the Santa Rosa City Lions' Women’s Artistic Gymnastics campaign at the Palarong Pambansa 2026, where every routine reflected focus, discipline, and heart at the Agusan del Sur State University Socio-Cultural Gymnasium, San Teodoro, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.

Kaye Margarette P. Mitra finished 5th in WAG Cluster 2 and earned bronze as part of Team CALABARZON in the Elementary Category, while Ma. Anne Joy I. Vinuya also proudly represented the region in WAG Cluster 3 on the national stage.

The May 29 finals were also made more meaningful with the presence of SDO Santa Rosa City personnel, who showed their support for the young gymnasts.
