𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲 — 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

May mga umiiral tayong batas at mekanismo upang tugunan ang violence against women. Ngunit higit pa sa mga batas, kailangan din nating baguhin ang mga paniniwala at kulturang patuloy na nagbibigay-daan sa pang-aabuso.

Hindi pananamit ang problema.

Ang problema ay ang kawalan ng paggalang sa dignidad ng kababaihan at ang kakulangan sa pagkilala na ang kababaihan ay may pantay na karapatan tulad ng lahat.

2026 na. Tigilan na natin ang ganitong sistema.

From January 26–29, the Santiago City Gender and Development Resources and Coordinating Office gathered at Azalea Hotels, Baguio City, for a productive Barangay Council GAD Planning and Budgeting Workshop. With 170 participants (79 Males, 91 Females), including 32 Punong Barangays and their councils, we focused on integrating gender perspectives into local governance.

The training kicked off with an orientation on the Barangay Information Management System (BIMS) by Mr. Von Louie Cayaba (DILG). On the second day, Ms. Johanna Mercy C. Gabriel led insightful sessions on Gender Analysis, followed by an intensive workshop on the GAD Plan and Budget facilitated by Mr. Mac Paul V. Alariao. By the final day, every barangay successfully submitted their plans, ensuring a systematic approach to women’s empowerment and gender equality.

We’re heading home inspired and ready to serve our community better!

Naisagawa ang 1st quarter meeting ng Santiago City GAD Council na dinaluhan ng kabuoang bilang na 27 na miyembro, kasama sa mga natalakay ang pagsusumite ng taunang GAD Accomplishment Report nga bawat opsina at ang nalalapit na paghahanda sa 2026 National Women's Month Celebration.

Bahagi nito ang pagbibigay nga mga bagong inpormasyon at hakbangin ng GAD Council para sa mga susunod na buwan ng 1st quarter ng taong 2026.
