This is to officially inform the public that Hon. Asther Mark P. Elefante has resigned from his position as our SK Chairperson effective today October 24, 2025.

𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥

Greetings of peace and good day!

I am writing this letter to formally tender my resignation as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairperson of Barangay Imus, Santiago, Ilocos Sur, effective today, October 24, 2025. This decision comes after deep reflection and careful consideration of my current professional responsibilities and ethical obligations.

It has been a distinct honor and privilege to serve the youth and community of Barangay Imus through the SK leadership. Throughout my tenure, I have strived to fulfill my duties with dedication, commitment, and transparency, working towards the betterment of the barangay youth's welfare and development.

I sincerely regret any inconvenience my resignation may cause; nonetheless, I believe that this course of action is in the best interest of ethical governance and my professional growth. I remain grateful for the trust and support extended by the municipal government, the DILG office, my fellow youth officials, and the community.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to continuing my commitment to public service in my new capacity at the _____ and to supporting the welfare of our youth in any way I can outside of my official duties.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The 𝐒𝐊 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐦𝐮𝐬 is proud to share that 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐏. 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐒𝐊 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧, and 𝐒𝐊 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐈. 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 actively participated in the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 at the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫, for the preparation of the Sangguniang Kabataan budget for the year 2026. They gained important knowledge on proper 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 to ensure transparent and responsible use of funds. This training will help them prioritize youth projects and programs that truly benefit the community, promoting accountability and effective governance.

Together, they are committed to building a stronger and more empowered youth sector in Barangay Imus!
