Ipatuman na karon ang paggamit sa four-lane ug six-lane highways sulod sa probinsya sa Agusan del Norte aron mapalambo pa ang kaluwasan sa kadalanan, hapsay nga trapiko ug disiplina sa mga drayber.

Niini, giawhag ang mga motorista sa paggamit sa mga lane diin ang leftmost lane alang sa mga paspas nga sakyanan (fast lane) samtang ang rightmost lane alang sa mga hinay nga sakyanan (slow lane) o kadtong mosulod ug mogawas sa highways.

Sumala pa sa ordinansa, gibawal usab ang dili hustong pag-overtake, pag-park sa dili tukmang lugar, ug pagtabok sa mga dili pedestrian. Ang mga makalapas sa ordinansa multahan sa mga mosunod: ₱1,000 alang sa unang paglapas, ₱2,500 alang sa ikaduhang paglapas, ug ₱5,000 alang sa ikatulo ug sunod nga paglapas.

Gilauman nga pinaagi aning ordinansa mamahimong mas luwas ug mas disiplinado ang pagbiyahe sa mga karsada sa Agusan del Norte aron malikayan ang aksidente ug traffic congestion.

Ang nasangpit nga lakang naaprobahan pinaagi sa Provincial Ordinance No. 553-2025 nga gipangamahan ni Board Member Alan M. Asio inubanan nila Board Member Rodulfo A. Pitogo, Rey G. Jamboy ug Virgilio R. Escasinas, Jr. niadtong Nobyembre 4 atol sa session regular sa SP.

In 1964, the barrio officials of Santiago indicated their desire to become a separate municipality. And on June 15, 1969, the barrios of Santiago and Jagupit were separated from Cabadbaran and constituted into the new municipality of SANTIAGO, through Republic Act 5242.
