NFA Isabela Branch nag isyu ng bigas sa Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) ng Ifugao bilang suporta sa programang Benteng Bigas Meron Na! ng Department of Agriculture (DA) sa pamamagitan ng Food Terminal Inc. (FTI).

Sa pamamagitan ng programang ito, mas maraming Pilipino, lalo na ang mga kabilang sa mga prayoridad na sektor, ang magkakaroon ng access sa dekalidad na bigas sa halagang bente pesos kada kilo.

Sa pakikipagtulungan sa mga lokal na pamahalaan, patuloy na nakikiisa ang NFA sa mga pagsisikap ng pamahalaan na mapalawak ang access sa abot-kayang bigas.

The oath-taking ceremony marks the beginning of her commitment to public service and her role in supporting the agency's mission of ensuring food security.

BENTENG BIGAS MERON NA SA KALINGA!

Suportado ng mga samahan ng magsasaka at agricultural producers ang panukalang ibalik ang kapangyarihan ng NFA na mamagitan sa pamilihan ng bigas, na inaasahang makatutulong sa pagpapatatag ng presyo at pagpapabuti ng kita ng mga magsasaka.

Farmers’ groups and agricultural producers have thrown their support behind a proposal to restore the power of the National Food Authority (NFA) to intervene in the rice market, saying the move could help stabilize prices and improve farmers’ incomes.
