๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, emphasized that earthquake drills are essential in preparing communities for potential disasters. He explained that such drills are not only meant to inform people about the proper response during an earthquake, but also to help them develop the habit of responding correctly when an actual earthquake occurs. He also encouraged everyone to always check on the safety of those around them during emergencies, particularly their colleagues or nearby individuals. Furthermore, he stressed that disaster preparedness is a shared responsibility and that all agencies and sectors must actively participate, with no exemptions, in initiatives that promote community safety and readiness.
These preparedness activities play a vital role in raising awareness among residents about potential hazards and strengthening the communityโs collective effort to prepare for disasters. At LDRRMO Sto. Tomas, we believe that awareness and preparedness are the first lines of defense in protecting lives and ensuring the safety of every member of the community.
