With heavy hearts, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of our fellow BSAB student, Reejan Ybañez, who tragically passed away due to a motorcycle accident last night.

We are deeply saddened by this sudden loss. Reejan Ybañez will always be remembered for his dedication, service, and the positive impact he made within the student community. His presence, leadership, and kindness will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In this time of grief, may his family find strength, comfort, and peace in the love and support of those around them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in peace.

With heavy hearts, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of our fellow SSC member, SSC Senator Reejan Ybañez, who tragically passed away due to a motorcycle accident last night.

Reejan Ybañez was more than just a council member—he was a brother to all of us. He was approachable, humble, and always ready to lend a helping hand. He was easy to work with, dependable, and always willing to take on any task without hesitation. Whether the responsibility was big or small, he carried it out with sincerity, dedication, and a genuine heart. His kindness, commitment, and service to the student body will always be remembered and cherished.

In this time of grief, we humbly ask for your support for the Ybañez family. Financial assistance is greatly needed for the burial of Reejan, as well as for his brother, Ryan Ybañez, a BTVTED senior, who is currently recovering and in need of funds for his leg operation and other medications.

In observance of Earth Hour, individuals and communities worldwide are encouraged to switch off non-essential lights for one hour on March 28, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, as a collective action to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection. This annual initiative aims to highlight the importance of conserving energy and protecting the planet, showing how simple actions can make a meaningful difference. By participating, people demonstrate unity and commitment to a more sustainable future.

In an effort to extend support to the young learners of Kinamayan Integrated School (KIS), the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of Santo Tomas College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (STCAST), in collaboration with the Bookworm, Sci-Math, and First Aider Clubs, successfully conducted a Community Outreach Program on March 24, 2025. The activity included the distribution of learning materials and the facilitation of fun-filled games for the students.

This initiative was made possible through the guidance of SSC Adviser Genner A. Raz, LPT, MPA, MBA, and the dedicated officers of the participating clubs. It was warmly welcomed by Principal IV Candelaria A. Brucal of Kinamayan Integrated School, with the support of STCAST faculty members, including Marietta A. Villanueva (Focal Person for Community Extension), Angelo J. Namuag, MSM (Vice President for Research and Extension), and Cherry L. Demafeliz, RL, MSLIS (Bookworm Club Adviser).

Through this effort, the program brought smiles, learning, and inspiration to the students—proving that collaboration and service can make a meaningful difference in the community.
