October 1, 2025 — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Santo Tomas officially celebrates the 36th National Statistics Month (NSM) with the theme, “𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝘿𝙂 𝙋𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙈𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙡”, which gives emphasis on the importance of accurate data in local development planning and governance.

The Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of this Municipality initiated the onset of the celebration by posting informative and promotional NSM posters around the municipality. These efforts are done to raise public awareness on the significance of accurate and timely statistics in policy-making and service delivery.

Hon. Roland S. Dejesica expressed his gratitude for the 2024 CBMS data during the Turnover Ceremony held on 22 August 2025. The Municipality of Santo Tomas successfully conducted a 4-day LSP Writeshop and CDRA AR5 Workshop for integration into the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). With their knowledge and expertise, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) provided high-caliber resource speakers for the 4-day event.

The said event was attended by MDRRMO, MPDC and MENRO Personnel. Also, Key participants included MDRRMO Mario Rebote and MPDC Concordia Alcos.
