The Local Government Unit of Santol is pleased to announce that STARBOOKS is now available at the KAILYANN IT Hub, providing our students and community members with access to valuable Science and Technology learning resources even without an Internet connection.

During the discussion, IT Hub Staff Mr. Jay Camat presented and explained the features and benefits of STARBOOKS to the Local Chief Executive (LCE), highlighting its potential to support research, learning, and teaching, especially for students in areas with limited or unstable Internet connectivity.

With STARBOOKS, our kakaiLYaNN can explore educational materials, references, and other Science and Technology resources in a convenient and accessible learning environment.

The Local Government Unit of Santol warmly welcomed representatives from the Department of Health – Ilocos Center for Health Development during a courtesy call with Hon. Maria Theresa Lynn Wailan-Senen, Municipal Mayor.

The courtesy call highlighted the upcoming deployment of Mr. Mark Edison E. De Soto, Radiologic Technologist II, under the National Health Workforce Support System, who will be assigned to the Municipality of Santol from September 16 to October 16, 2026 to help improve access to health services in the municipality’s different barangays.

LGU Santol expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Health and the Provincial Health Team of La Union for their continued partnership and support in strengthening healthcare services for our communities.

Under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Maria Theresa Lynn Wailan-Senen, LGU Santol remains committed to bringing accessible, responsive, and quality health services closer to every kaiLYaNN.

Held last September 21, 2026, the Local Government Unit of Santol proudly recognizes and celebrates 21 JOCCOS Loyalty Awardees whose years of dedicated service, commitment, and loyalty have contributed to the continued growth and delivery of public service in our municipality.

Their recognition embodies the spirit of this year’s 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary theme: “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan.”

The celebration also highlights the talents and camaraderie of our fellow public servants through the Videoke Singing Contest, where Mr. Ven Paul B. Halili, representing the Green Battalion, emerged as Champion, and the TikTok Dance Competition, where the Red Lion Legions took the winning spot.

And the celebration continues as we gear up for the much-awaited LGULYMPICS on September 28-29, 2026!

Four teams will battle it out in the spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and friendly competition:

𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗟𝗬𝗮𝗡𝗡

The Local Government Unit of Santol, through the support of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), conducted the distribution of food packs to 1,226 families from the different barangays of Santol.

This assistance provides timely support to our kakaiLYaNN, especially to families who may need additional help during times of need.

The LGU Santol extends its heartfelt gratitude to the DSWD for this valuable assistance and to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) for ensuring the delivery and transport of the food packs to Santol.

This initiative reflects the spirit of AGKAYSA—government agencies working together to bring assistance closer to the people.

Osias, Barangay Health Worker (BHW) of Barangay Lettac Sur, for being recognized as one of the Sangapulo a Naisangsangayan a Barangay Health Workers ti La Union Award given by the Provincial Government of La Union for her competent, dedicated, and committed volunteer service to the community.

Her selfless service and dedication have contributed significantly to the successful implementation of health programs and projects, helping promote the health and well-being of the community.
