MGA ANGAY MASAYRAN MAHITUNGOD SA โ€œVERY STRONGโ€ EL NIร‘O!

Ang El Niรฑo usa ka klima nga panghitabo nga mahimong hinungdan sa mas taas nga temperatura ug pagkunhod sa ulan sa pipila ka lugar. On September 28, 2026, the Sikatuna MDRRMO conducted the Barangay Risk Assessment and Clusters for Response Orientation in Barangay Cambuac Sur, focusing on identifying hazards, vulnerabilities, risks, available resources, and strengthening the roles and responsibilities of response clusters.

This activity also concluded the assessment and orientation activities covering all 10 barangays of Sikatuna, marking another milestone in strengthening our community-based disaster preparedness and response.

On September 18, 2026, the Sikatuna Municipal DRRM Office conducted Barangay Risk Assessment and Clusters for Response Orientation in Barangay Badiang in the morning and Barangay Bahaybahay in the afternoon.

The activity provided an opportunity to assess the hazards, vulnerabilities, risks, and available resources within the barangays, while orienting the different response clusters on their respective roles, responsibilities, and coordination during emergencies and disasters.

Through these initiatives, we continue to strengthen the preparedness and capacity of our barangays toward a safer, more organized, and resilient Sikatuna community.
