In light of the heavy rains affecting our municipality and the possible occurrence of flooding and landslides, the Silang Municipal Police Station reminds everyone to stay alert and take necessary safety precautions:

Safety Precautions:

Stay Informed – Monitor weather updates and advisories from DOST-PAGASA, LGU, MDRRMO, and Silang PNP official pages.

Avoid Flooded Areas – Do not attempt to cross rivers, swollen creeks, or flooded roads, whether on foot or by vehicle.

Prepare Emergency Kits – Secure flashlights, batteries, food, water, medicines, and important documents in waterproof bags.

Landslide-Prone Areas – Residents living near slopes or mountain sides should remain vigilant for cracks, unusual sounds, or falling debris. Evacuate immediately when advised.

Secure Your Homes – Unplug electrical appliances, reinforce roofs and windows, and keep drainage clear to prevent flooding.

Evacuation – Follow the advice of barangay officials and MDRRMO. Evacuate early if you live in flood or landslide-prone areas.
