Congratulations to Our Siquijor Pickleball Champions!
We proudly recognize Mc Prince Jumawan of Polangyuta, Siquijor, and his partner, Patricia Mariella Aljas of Lazi, for winning the Cebu Pickleball 1st Inter-Province Invitational Mixed Doubles Tournament!

Their final match against Maasin City was nothing short of incredible. Down 14–10 at match point, with the odds seemingly against them, they showed tremendous heart, composure, and determination. They fought their way back and completed an amazing comeback, winning 16–14!

Their victory is a powerful reminder that with a great heart, determination, and the courage to keep fighting, anything is possible.

Once again, congratulations, Mc Prince and Patricia! And thank you for proudly representing our beautiful island of Siquijor. Your achievement makes us all proud!

Siquijor is proud of you!

A throwback to last Monday after our Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony, where we were honored to have Mayor Rubilyn "Nanang" Ragay as our guest speaker.

After the program, we shared a simple “Pamainit” at my office together with our department heads. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up, exchange ideas, and strengthen the camaraderie that keeps us united in serving the people of Siquijor.

Thank you, Mayor Nanang, and to everyone who joined us. Meaningful conversations and genuine fellowship always make public service more fulfilling.

I am grateful to Ms. Sarah Mojen Gumansing for availing of our free tennis racket program for her child, who will soon begin training under Coach Melfred Samson of TECS.

It is always a joy to support young aspiring athletes and provide them with opportunities to learn, grow, and excel in sports. I look forward to seeing another young tennis player develop their skills and passion for the game.

Together, let us continue investing in our youth through sports.

Honored to take my oath together with the newly inducted Officers and Board of Directors of the Siquijor Capitol Tennis Club (SCTC) for CY 2026.

My sincere thanks to Vice Governor Atty. Dindo A. Tumala for administering the oath. Together, we look forward to serving and strengthening the tennis community in Siquijor.
