Teaching does not end when the classroom door closes. For some educators, the calling to guide, inspire, and shape lives continues through another meaningful avenue: 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.

On this momentous day, we honor not only the teachers who stand before a class but also those who now serve in local government, bringing the same patience, purpose, and commitment in building a generation that is capable, compassionate, and ready to lead.

The Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) and Sultan Kudarat Association of Youth Organizations (SKAYO) joins the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in celebrating the rich cultural identity, artistry, traditions, and stories that make Mindanao distinct.

Beyond tourism, MTEx 2026 offers a meaningful reminder of the role young people play in keeping culture alive. That the youth are not merely audiences of heritage. They are storytellers, innovators, advocates, and future stewards of the places and traditions they call home.

Our sincere appreciation to the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat, its partners, exhibitors, cultural bearers, and participants whose passion and presence made this celebration of Mindanao’s living heritage meaningful.

Innovation takes center stage today as young minds, aspiring innovators, and emerging changemakers come together for 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛, an initiative conducted by Youth Impact Organization that is designed to transform ideas into solutions and possibilities into ventures.

A meaningful session which will help young Sultan Kudarateños to explore how technology can transform promising concepts into practical solutions and opportunities that respond to the needs of a changing world.

𝗦𝗞𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧-𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗡𝗣, 𝗔𝗙𝗣, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦

In support of the Provincial Youth Development Office’s (PYDO) continuing commitment to youth empowerment and peacebuilding, student-leaders from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) gathered for a meaningful and peaceful conversation with representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and Youth for Peace Advocates on September 26-27, 2026 at Carlitos Hotel, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

The engagement provided an avenue for open communication, mutual understanding, and the exchange of perspectives on peace, security, and the role of young people in building peaceful communities. Through constructive dialogue, student-leaders were encouraged to express their thoughts, share their experiences, and gain insights into the importance of active youth participation in peacebuilding initiatives.

The conversation also highlighted the significance of collaboration among youth organizations, government institutions, and peace advocates in promoting unity, understanding, and respect for diversity. By creating spaces for meaningful discussions, the activity strengthened the role of student-leaders as partners in fostering peaceful and inclusive communities.

The PYDO remains committed to supporting initiatives that empower the youth to become active contributors to peace and development in the province. Through continued dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful youth engagement, we reaffirm our shared responsibility in building a more peaceful, inclusive, and progressive Sultan Kudarat.

𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬

Please be advised that pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136, work in executive departments and government agencies is suspended starting at 1:00 PM tomorrow, September 28, 2026, in observance of Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day and the 34th National Family Week.

In view of this, the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) will observe a half-day work schedule tomorrow.

Official transactions and inquiries submitted via email or official channels during the suspension will be addressed when regular office operations resume on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
