Community Walkthrough | 🗓️ September 1, 2026

📚 Environmental and Social Safeguards Rollout Training for ACTs
📅 August 24–29, 2026

A meaningful week of learning and capacity-building was conducted to strengthen the implementation of Panahon ng Pagkilos: Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP).

The Environmental and Social Safeguards Rollout Training for ACTs: Part 1 – Safeguard 101 focused on Environmental and Social (E&S) clearances and permitting requirements, equipping the Area Coordinating Teams (ACTs) with essential knowledge to ensure that PCRP interventions are implemented responsibly, safely, and in compliance with applicable environmental and social standards.

The training emphasized that effective community resilience goes beyond building projects. It also means protecting people, respecting communities, safeguarding the environment, and ensuring that every intervention contributes to a safer and more resilient community.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, the ACTs are better prepared to support the proper implementation of PCRP and uphold environmental and social safeguards throughout the project cycle.

Community Walkthrough | 🗓️ Agosto 20, 2026

Strengthening Partnerships, Empowering Communities!

The 1st Barangay Assemblies in all 26 barangays of the Municipality of Roseller Lim were successfully conducted.
The assemblies served as a meaningful platform for communities to learn more about the PCRP-Panahon ng Pagkilos Project, understand its objectives and processes, raise their concerns, and actively participate in discussions that promote inclusive and community-driven development.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the LGU of Roseller Lim, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Engr. Michael A. Piodena, together with the municipal department heads and staff from the Municipal Engineering Office, MPDC, MHO, and MSWDO, for their invaluable support and active participation.
Their commitment went beyond providing counterpart support. Despite the rain and challenging road conditions, they personally joined the assemblies, listened to the voices of residents, and engaged in meaningful conversations with the communities. Their presence truly demonstrated that genuine public service is built on commitment, collaboration, and being present for the people.
Together, we continue to build stronger partnerships and empower communities toward a more resilient, inclusive, and progressive Municipality of Roseller Lim

Community Walkthrough | 🗓️ August 12, 2026

A meaningful Community Walkthrough was conducted in Barangay Malubal to gain a deeper understanding of the community’s needs, risks, and available resources.

One of the key concerns identified was the limited water supply. As part of the activity, the team visited the existing water source in neighboring Barangay San Fernandino, which may potentially serve as a primary source of water for the residents of Malubal. The walkthrough also identified a landslide-prone area, highlighting the need for continued monitoring, preparedness, and appropriate risk-reduction measures.

Through the strong leadership of Barangay Captain Hon. Pearly Joy Salazar and the active participation of the Barangay Resilience Team (BResT), the community demonstrated its willingness to work together in finding solutions to their needs. This embodies the spirit of Panahon ng Pagkilos—empowering communities to identify their own challenges, take collective action, and build a safer, stronger, and more resilient Barangay Malubal. 🤝🌱
