To officially welcome and begin the month of June, the City Human Resource Management and Development Office HRMDO Surigao City, led by Ms. Hariee Cel S. Pedimonte, hosted today’s Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in the presence of Mayor Paul Yves Dumlao II and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod—Hon. Arnold Go, Hon. Perfecto “Pepe” Consigo, and Hon. Faith Elumba.

The ceremony reflected the City Government’s continued unity and commitment in serving every Surigaonon as the city opens a new month of public service and dedication. 🇵🇭

Sa atong mga Batang Surigaonon Fisherfolks — kamo ang kusog, kaisog, sanan inspirasyon sa atong syudad sa Surigao. Salamat sa injong wayay kapoy nga paningkamot aron masiguro ang pagkaon sa matag pamilya sanan mapadajon ang kinabuhi sa atong kadagatan. 🐟💙

Isip Chairman, Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries, dako ang akong pagpasalamat sanan suporta sa injong dedikasyon, kakugi, sanan gugma sa injong panginabuhi.

𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗡𝗢. 𝟱𝟱𝟯 | 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Surigao City has approved Ordinance No. 553, Series of 2026, converting the Livelihood Technology and Polytechnic Center (LTPC) into a polytechnic institution to be known as the Surigao City Polytechnic and Institute of Technology (SCPIT).

This ordinance provides for:

✅ Official conversion of LTPC into SCPIT
✅ Authorization to offer a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
✅ Opening of other government-approved 3-year diploma programs
✅ Expanded access to technical and skills-based education for Surigaonons
