Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV)
Surigao City

The City Government of Surigao, through the City Assessor’s Office, informs all property owners, taxpayers, and stakeholders that the Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for real properties in Surigao City has been prepared pursuant to Republic Act No. 12001 (Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act – RPVARA).

The proposed SMV is now open for public review for two (2) weeks. Copies are available at the City Assessor’s Official page and posted on the official website and page of the City Assessor's Office as well as in conspicuous places such as City Hall and the Surigao City Public Terminal and Public Market.

We encourage everyone to review the proposed SMV and submit comments, recommendations, or objections, if any. Your participation helps ensure transparency and fairness in property valuation.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Ordinance No. 535, Series of 2025 — 'An Ordinance Prescribing the Revised Schedule of Fair Market Values for the Different Kinds and Classes of Real Properties within Surigao City, and for Other Purposes' — This Ordinance was enacted last March 14, 2025 and was approved on April 8, 2025. This ordinance will take effect on January 1, 2026. The public is advised to read/review the updated schedule to stay informed and guided accordingly.

IN PHOTO: The Proposed 7th General Revision of Schedule of Market Values (SMV) was officially posted at City Hall and the City Terminal last March 11, 2025. This public posting is part of the transparency and consultation process to ensure fair and updated property valuations in the city. The public is encouraged to review and stay informed.
