September 26, 2023- Marks the significant milestone of the City Government of Surigao as the SGLG National Validation happened yesterday at Sangguniang Panlungsod, Session Hall, Surigao City.

Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Hon. Marah Ilagan Adtoon with the Local Youth Development Office represented by LYDO Designate Ms. Denise Rose Borimbao and Local Youth Development Council member represented by Mr. John Andrie Penados the Executive Director of Tingog Kabatan-Onan Organization presented the documents for 2023 SGLG Youth Development Area.

We are very thankful to the distinguished team of validators Mr. Jhonel M. Anavesa the LGOO VI Program Manager including Mr. Art Robin M. Nagpacan the LGOO III.

As we begin the International Youth Day celebration this August, the Local Youth Development Office in partnership with Sangguniang Kabataan Federasyon Officers there will be a series of activities for this year’s Linggo ng Kabataan 2023 Calendar of Activities and everyone is encouraged to participate.

These activities are open to all the members of youth and youth active organizations, and Katipunan ng mga Kabataan sa Brgy. which are intended to promote youth camaraderie, a sense of involvement, and active participation as well as physical health and general well-being.
