In pursuant to Section 28 of Republic Act (RA) No. 10742, as amended by RA No. 11768, which mandates the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials and Local Youth Development Council members to undergo mandatory training programs before assumption of office and in compliance with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Memorandum Circular No. 2023-166 dated November 3, 2023 this is to ensure that they have the right knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill their roles effectively.

Our new Elected SK Chairperson and SK Members participated in the SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) Mandatory Training. This reflects a commitment to youth development and effective governance at the local level. The SK training is essential for equipping youth leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their roles in promoting the welfare and interests of the youth in our barangays.

The mandatory training is composed of the following training modules:
- Decentralization and Local Governance
- SK History and Salient Features
- Meetings and Resolutions
- Planning and Budgeting
- Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards
