A Tribute of Gratitude to SSLG President Ken Alger L. Dangate
Taft National High School proudly extends its heartfelt gratitude and recognition to its dynamic Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) President, Ken Alger L. Dangate, whose leadership has left a lasting impact on the school community.
Serving not only as the SSLG President but also as the Division Federated SSLG Auditor, Ken exemplified excellence, responsibility, and dedication beyond the school level. His commitment to student leadership brought pride and honor to Taft NHS.
Under his visionary leadership, several landmark initiatives were successfully realized. He spearheaded the first-ever Mobile Legends Tournament in the school, fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and student engagement in a modern and exciting platform. Moreover, he organized the first-ever Fun Run of Taft National High School. This historic event did not only promote health and wellness but also resulted in a meaningful achievement. The activity led to the acquisition of a much-needed sound system for the Taft NHS Covered Court.
Not stopping there, he once again demonstrated his passion for service by organizing another Fun Run before the close of the school year. This further strengthened unity and school spirit among learners and stakeholders.
Beyond his leadership accomplishments, Ken also excelled academically, graduating with High Honors. This is a testament to his discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of student life.
Indeed, Ken Alger L. Dangate’s legacy is one of service, innovation, and inspiration. His contributions will continue to resonate within the halls of Taft National High School for years to come.
Congratulations and thank you for your outstanding service, President Ken. Your Taft NHS family is proud of you.

Maundy Thursday
On this sacred day, we remember not just a moment in history, but a commandment that echoes through time: to love, to serve, and to humble ourselves before others.
In the breaking of the bread and the washing of the feet, we are reminded that true leadership is found in service, and true greatness is rooted in love.
As one Taft NHS community, may we carry this spirit beyond today to serve without pride, to love without condition, and to lead with humility.
“Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34
