“Province of Surigao del Norte grants Centenarian Incentive in the amount of P100,000”
SURIGAO CITY, Surigao del Norte, Philippines – 100-year-old senior citizen from San Isidro, Mainit, Surigao del Norte has received P100,000 Centenarian incentive.
Honorata Dajan-Tado, born on January 11, 1921, has received recognition and cash incentive last March 10, 2021 from the Provincial Government Office of Surigao del Norte (PGSDN) under the leadership of Provincial Governor Atty. Francisco T. Matugas through Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
The risk of COVID-19 has compromised the lives of many Filipinos across the country, including the most vulnerable senior citizens, but heedless of the threat, PGSDN through PSWDO has availed of the house-to-house delivery scheme for the Centenarian incentive of senior citizens ages 100 years old and above.
Much has been said about how to live longer but not everyone gets to live up to 100 years old, so Nanay Honorata is just one of few blessed to last a century despite of the pandemic crisis that we’re facing today.
Mabuhay Ka Nanay Honorata!
