H | Gil Camporazo: How to Correct Learner Data in LIS Learner's issues on his profile like wrong spelling of names, incomplete middle name, double LRN, among others are the common tasks usually effected during housekeeping before finalization of school statistics on end of the school year (EOSY) for a particular school year.

For Information (March 23, 2015): Birth Certificate with the middle initial instead of the middle name. According to NSO, "The entry should be corrected by a petition for correction of clerical error under the provisions of R.A. 9048".

Sa LIS po, ang ilalagay sa ganitong case ay no middle name (clear the middle name then click no middle name) unless na maayos nang party sa NSO. Hindi po tatangapin sa LIS ang middle initial lang kahit iyon ang nakalagay sa birth certificate. -

Clarification (March 23, 2015) House Keeping Process:
Deactivation of LRN:
Technically, to deactivate is to nullify/void or cancel learner’s record and it’s current enrollment. This request action is for erroneouslly encoded learner’s record (imaginary learner/ expected enrollment but never attended classes since day 1) during the current SY.
- Dahil sa hindi naman talaga umatend ng kahit isang araw man lang ang learner pero isinama sa report ng enrollment at nabilang pa sa pag allocate ng resources para sa school, dapat na tanggalin ito sa masterlist ng school ng warm bodies. Karaniwan nang mga cases ito ng imaginary learners or para naman sa ilan ay record nang learner na hindi sinasadyang na i-assigned sa ibang learner (mistaken identity). Huwag na huwag isasama sa SF 5 Report on Promotion ang ganitong mga imaginary learners dahil mag dadagdag ito ng panibagong problema sa EoSY at mas malala pa sa BoSY 2015-2016.
I report ito sa Central Office using the request for deactivation online submission.
Correction of LRN:
In most cases, this refers to Learner with Multiple LRN due to mismatched of personal profile.
- Ito po ay mga user’s identified error sa profile ng learner (name/gender/DoB). Nagkaroon ng multiple LRN dahil magkaiba ang data na nairegistered sa LIS resulting to issuance of other LRN. Hindi ito na dedetect ng system dahil ang user ang nakakaalam kung ang mga records at LRN ay para lamang sa nag-iisang learner.
1. Para ma resolve ito, ilagay ang “other existing LRN” at kung mas naunang na issued (older LRN, 7th & 8th digit of LRN are for SY – 12 for 2012) mapapalitan ang current LRN ng older or other exisitng LRN.
2. Kung ang LRN naman na nakalagay sa current ay mas naunang na issue sa other existing LRN – dapat i cancel ang request at gamitin ang Correction of Basic Profile at ilagay ang correct entries. Ang tamang data sa mas bagong LRN ay mapupunta sa mas lumang LRN. School Head will approve.
