Congratulations to Christian Jay “Cjay” Comanda Agape of Mat-i Elementary School, Surigao City for becoming part of a historic milestone at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur!

🥇 1st Gold Medal in Chess in Palarong Pambansa History for Surigao City!

Cjay played a vital role in the success of the CARAGA Elementary Boys Chess Team, helping secure the Rapid Team Gold Medal and bringing pride and honor to Surigao City.

This achievement is the result of years of hard work, dedication, discipline, and the unwavering support of his family, coaches, teachers, Mat-i Elementary School, Chess Jam Training Center, and the entire Surigaonon community.

Today, Cjay’s name becomes part of Surigao City’s sporting history as one of the young athletes who helped deliver the city’s first-ever Chess Gold Medal in Palarong Pambansa.
