Surigao Airport proudly welcomes Mr. Bonifacio F. Binayon, Firefighter III, as the new Acting Airport Manager following the turnover ceremony held on May 26, 2026, attended by the Acting CAAM of Area Center XII, Engr. Junelito P. Abrazado, together with the Unit Heads of CAAP-SUG and stakeholders.
We likewise express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our outgoing Acting Airport Manager, Engr. George Churchell A. Roluna, for his dedicated service and exemplary leadership. In celebration of CAAP’s 18th Anniversary and Surigao Airport Sportsfest 2026, we successfully conducted an outreach program at Charisma Bethel Children’s Home (CBCH) on May 26, 2026.
In celebration of the 18th Anniversary of CAAP and the Surigao Airport Sportsfest 2026, an outreach program was successfully conducted at Charisma Bethel Children’s Home (CBCH) on May 26, 2026.
The activity aimed to extend support and bring joy to the children under the care of CBCH. Through the collective efforts and generosity of Surigao Airport Employees, donors and participants, various forms of assistance—including financial support and in-kind donations such as clothes and basic necessities—were distributed to the children.
The outreach program was highlighted by meaningful interactions, and gift-giving, creating a warm and memorable experience for everyone involved. More importantly, the initiative served as a reminder of the value of compassion, unity, and social responsibility.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) – Surigao Airport is currently implementing OPLAN Biyaheng Ayos: Heightened Alert Status in line with the observance of Semana Santa and the Summer Vacation 2026.
As part of the enhanced security measures, the Airport Security Department has increased monitoring and coordination to ensure the safety, security, and convenience of all passengers.
To show appreciation for our travelers during this busy period, snacks have been distributed to passengers as part of our commitment to provide a pleasant airport experience.
