Caraga Regional Hospital is located in Surigao City, on the northeastern tip of the Philippine island
October 6, 1946 A 25-bed Emergency Hospital was established, maintained and operated by the National Government. July 1, 1958 The Emergency Hospital was converted to Surigao Provincial Hospital and bed capacity was upgraded to 50.
1962 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 75.
1970 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 100.
1985 Authorized bed capacity was upgraded to 150. April 1, 1993
