🛑 PUBLIC ADVISORY: STOP THE UNLAWFUL SHARING OF IMAGES AND VIDEOS RELATED TO THE BANGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING INCIDENT 🛑

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII strongly appeals to all netizens, social media influencers, vloggers, and content creators to IMMEDIATELY CEASE AND DESIST from sharing, posting, or circulating graphic photos, videos, and names of the victims and the minor perpetrator involved in the tragic shooting incident at Banga National High School.

As our social workers provide urgent psychological first aid and psychosocial interventions to the grieving families and traumatized learners, the continuous dissemination of these sensitive materials online will worsen the trauma of the victims' loved ones and violates the fundamental rights of the children involved.

We remind the public that sharing such explicit content is not only deeply insensitive but is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE punishable under Philippine laws:

1. VIOLATION OF RA 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act)
Section 29 strictly prohibits the public disclosure, sensationalized publicity, or broadcast of any information or imagery that reveals the identity of child victims. Violators face stiff criminal penalties, including imprisonment and fines.

2. VIOLATION OF RA 9344 (Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006)
Under Section 43, the absolute confidentiality and privacy of a Child in Conflict with the Law (CICL) must be maintained at all stages. Disclosing or posting images of the minor perpetrator is strictly prohibited and carries severe statutory penalties.

3. VIOLATION OF RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012)
The unauthorized processing and viral sharing of personal and sensitive information (such as photos of deceased individuals, names of minors, and crime scene media) without legal consent carry a penalty of 3 to 6 years of imprisonment and fines ranging from ₱500,000 to ₱2,000,000.

4. CYBERCRIME PREVENTION ACT OF 2012 (RA 10175)
Under our current laws, any crime committed by, through, and with the use of information and communications technologies (such as Facebook, Messenger, and TikTok) shall be penalized with a penalty ONE DEGREE HIGHER than that provided by the Revised Penal Code and special laws.

Our cyber-authorities and law enforcement partners are actively monitoring social media channels. Accounts found distributing or archiving these graphic media files will be reported and legally prosecuted.

Let us practice digital responsibility. Protect our children, respect the privacy of the families in grief, and help us foster a safe environment for healing. If you see such posts, do not share or comment—REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY.

𝑷𝑼𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑪 𝑨𝑫𝑽𝑰𝑺𝑶𝑹𝒀 | In view of the recent shooting incident in one of the schools in Banga, South Cotabato, raising security concerns to schools from neighboring municipalities, and due to some arising contents circulating online posing public threats in the municipality, the Local Government Unit of Tboli would like to inform the public that after thorough discussions together with the School Heads and all concerned authorities, Municipal Mayor, HON. KEO DAYLE T. TUAN, hereby declares 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦, in all levels, both private and public, in Municipality of Tboli, 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗟 𝗙𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘.

To ensure the safety of all learners including the Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, the LGU-Tboli, in close coordination with the Tboli Municipal Police Station, Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams, shall be deploying additional Security Personnel in schools and shall intensify police presence and foot patrols to maintain peace and order and provide a safe learning environment for everyone, as classes resume at the right time.

We strongly urge all parents and/or guardians to help us in closely monitoring any suspicious activity, especially by our children, particularly their social media etiquette and behavior, involvement to peer groups and access to malicious websites. Strictly observing that all fi****ms or weapons are totally not within the reach of our children must be our top-tier priority as parents and/or guardians.

Further, we urge the public to remain vigilant and religiously observe and follow safety protocols at all times. Please keep posted for latest updates and be guided only by Official Public Advisories and Announcements from legitimate sources.

MATAGUMPAY NA NAGTAPOS ANG IKALAWANG ARAW NG SOCIAL PENSION PAYOUT SA TBOLI

TBOLI, South Cotabato —Matagumpay na nagtapos ang ikalawang araw at huling araw ng Social Pension Release ngayong araw, Setyembre 17, 2026.

Naging maayos at mabilis ang daloy ng payout para sa mga barangay ng Aflek, Datal Bob, Malugong, Talcon, Lambangan, Afus, Desawo, Tbolok, Edwards, Kematu, Lemsnolon, Maan, Poblacion, at Sinolon.

Sa loob ng dalawang araw, daan-daang mga senior citizen ang nakatanggap ng kanilang social pension na malaking tulong para sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan at gamot.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng LGU Tboli, sa pangunguna ng OSCA at MSWDO, katuwang ang Provincial Government ng South Cotabato ,105th IB ,at Pnp Tboli sa kanilang pagtutulungan upang maging maayos, ligtas, at organisado ang buong payout.

PAALALA PARA SA HINDI NAKAKUHA:

Para sa mga benepisyaryo na hindi nakakuha ng kanilang pension sa loob ng dalawang araw na payout, magkakaroon ng schedule para sa UNPAID / CLAIMS sa Setyembre 21, 2026 (Lunes).sa opisina ng OSCA .pinapayuhan ang mga kukuha na magdala ng OSCA id at iba pang mga requirements para sa mabilis na payout.

SENIOR CITIZEN SOCIAL PENSION PAYOUT, UMAARANGKADA SA UNANG ARAW SA TBOLI

TBOLI, South Cotabato — Matagumpay na natapos ang unang araw ng Social Pension Payout ngayong araw, Setyembre 16, 2026 sa brgy.Mongcayo,Basag,Lambuling,Talufo,Lamsalome,Lamhaku,Laconon,New dumangas,Datal dlanag,Salacafe at Tudok.

Maayos at mabilis na naipamahagi ang pension sa mga lolo at lola na dumalo sa payout venue, sa kabila ng dami ng mga benepisyaryo.

Naging katuwang sa matagumpay na distribusyon ang Provincial Government ng South Cotabato, LGU Tboli sa pangunguna ng Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) at MSWDO, at ang suporta ng 105th IB at Pnp-Tboli na tumulong sa pag-secure at pag-assist sa mga senior citizens.

Patuloy na magpapatuloy ang payout bukas para sa mga naka-schedule na barangay. Pinapayuhan ang mga benepisyaryo na dalhin ang kanilang Senior Citizen ID at iba pang kinakailangang dokumento at pumunta lamang sa itinakdang oras ng kanilang barangay.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng mga senior citizen sa patuloy na programa ng National Government at sa walang sawang suporta ng LGU Tboli para sa kapakanan ng mga nakatatanda.
