Barangay San Isidro
To combat the surging cases of dengue across the province of Albay, local officials, youth volunteers, and residents of Barangay San Isidro in Tabaco City recently mobilized for a synchronized community clean-up drive.
Aligning with broader provincial health directives and the Department of Health’s “Search and Destroy” strategy, the community-wide effort focused on identifying and eliminating mosquito-breeding sites by clearing clogged drainage canals, trimming overgrown vegetation, and disposing of stagnant water containers.
By promoting household waste management alongside community-wide sanitation, Barangay San Isidro active involvement aims to curb vector transmission, mitigate health risks, and safeguard public safety amid the rising dengue threat.
