SNAPSHOTS | The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Kalinga and the PESO offices of Mountain Province conducted a benchmarking activity on Thursday, October 22, at the Kalinga Provincial Capitol Conference Hall to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and learn strategies for improving employment services in their respective provinces.
The activity provided an opportunity for PESO managers and personnel to discuss their experiences in implementing employment programs, assisting jobseekers, facilitating job matching, and strengthening partnerships with employers and other government agencies.
These are among the key functions of PESO in helping connect jobseekers with employment opportunities.
During the discussion, PESO Manager-designate Ermilinda Wandag of Kalinga shared insights on how the office carries out its programs and services to better respond to the needs of local jobseekers.
Through this initiative, both offices aim to strengthen their coordination, adopt effective approaches, and improve the delivery of employment services, helping more residents find suitable job opportunities and build better livelihoods.
