On September 10–11, 2026, the hauling and installation of the water system for the Barangay Amlao Water Refilling Station took place at Alngigan Creek, Amlao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

This enterprise initiative not only provides the barangay with a community-managed enterprise, but it also directly addresses local water security, particularly for children and the elderly.

The establishment of this community enterprise is part of the ongoing Green Luzon Project of the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk-Social Action Center, in partnership with Caritas Philippines and funded by Caritas Spain and AECID.

We are grateful to our local partner, the DOST, thrpugh CLGU-Tabuk for funding the enterprise's water purification equipment.

Sincere gratitude to the Human Respurce Management Office headed by Grace M Kidang FloresMs. and her team for their effort in organizing this meaningful event and compiling the events of Season of Creation since 2022. The inclusion of the Season of Creation in the celebration of 126t Phil. CivilService Anniversary manifests a compelling example of holistic public service.

The AVT-SAC wpuld like to express our appreciation to the officialdom of PLGU-Kalinga under the leadership of Gov. James Edduba and Vice Gov. Dave Odiem for institutionalizing the Season of Creation as official ordinace and became part of PLGU calendar of activities annually. Passing a legislation to protext the environment and preserve the biodiversity reflect a moral imperative to safeguard God’s creation for present and future generations.

As we celebrates this Season of Creation, the AVT-SAC calls on all implementors and stakeholders to ensure that the vision of this ordinance that is also enshrined in the 8 objectives of the LUMIN-AWA governance is fully realized. A law truly bears fruit when its implementation becomes a shared responsibilty by all yKalinga. Especially when our response is deeply anchored in our Kalinga values: Paniyaw, Ngilin, and Bain. When these core values guide our everyday actions, the Season of Creation moves beyond a mere ordinance and becomes a way of life.

AVT-SAC remains committed to standing alongside the provincial leadership, municipal parmers, civil servants, and local and ecclesial communities in praying for, advocating for, and participating in the protection and preservation of our COMMON HOME for future yKalinga. MATATAGU TAKU LOSAN.
