On March 20, 2026, the BI Tacloban District Office will be closed to observe a nationwide regular holiday under Proclamation No. 1189, in celebration of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan), marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

GOVERNMENT WORK SUSPENDED IN TACLOBAN CITY
Due to worsening weather and heavy rains caused by the Shear Line, work in all government offices in Tacloban City is suspended today, February 3, 2026. This follows the earlier suspension of classes at all levels for both public and private schools.
