TURNOVER AND AWARDING OF STUDENTS ACCIDENT INSURANCE 🛡️🏫

A meaningful step toward protecting our children and strengthening our commitment to their safety!

The Barangay 109-A Council, through the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), proudly facilitated the turnover and awarding of Students Accident Insurance for the learners of V&G National High School and the Barangay 109-A Daycare Center.

A total of 571 students and learners are covered by the insurance, providing them with additional protection against untoward incidents that may happen inside or outside the school premises.

This initiative also extends coverage to the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, recognizing their important role in nurturing, educating, and caring for our children.

The BCPC fund is more than just a budget it is an investment in the safety, security, and future of our children.

Sa Barangay 109-A, lahat ng ating mga estudyante at learners ay mahalaga at protektado. ❤️

Because every child deserves to learn, grow, and dream with greater security.

Barangay 109-A: Serbisyong may malasakit, proteksyon para sa bawat bata.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF BARSENCA SENIOR CITIZENS IN ACTION (September 24, 2026).

Barangay 109-A proudly hosted the General Membership Meeting of the Barangay 109-A Senior Citizen Association (BARSENCA), an important gathering dedicated to strengthening the organization and ensuring that our senior citizens are informed about their rights, benefits, and privileges.

The activity was honored by the presence of Regional Director Antonio D. Dolaota and personnel from the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) Regional Office VIII, together with Honorable City Councilor Marty Romualdez.

The meeting provided our senior citizens with an opportunity to receive updates and clarifications regarding current laws, programs, benefits, and privileges for senior citizens, while also giving them a venue to raise concerns and better understand the services available to them.

The activity was led by Mrs. Diane Peliño, OIC of BARSENCA, with the active presence and support of Punong Barangay Bomboy Lledo.

It is an honor and privilege for Barangay 109-A to host this significant gathering. Our commitment remains firm: to promote the welfare, dignity, protection, and active participation of our senior citizens in our community.

Senior citizens are not only recipients of services they are valued members of our community whose wisdom, experience, and contributions continue to inspire the next generation.

FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION AT BARANGAY 109-A DAYCARE CENTER 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

A meaningful Family Day Celebration was held with the parents and learners of the Barangay 109-A Daycare Center, highlighting the importance of family in shaping the future of our children.

Punong Barangay Bomboy Lledo emphasized that the whole family plays a vital role in the mental, emotional, social, and character development of every child. A child who grows up surrounded by love, guidance, understanding, and positive values is better prepared to face the challenges of life.

In light of the challenges currently being experienced in our schools and communities, the partnership between parents, teachers, the barangay, and the children has never been more important. Education does not begin and end inside the classroom it starts at home, where children first learn respect, responsibility, compassion, discipline, and love for others.

Our children are not only the learners of today; they are the future of our nation. Investing in their well-being, character, and education means investing in the future of our community and our country.

Let us continue to build strong families, supportive schools, and caring communities where every child can grow with confidence, dignity, and hope.

“A strong family builds a strong child; a strong child builds a stronger nation.” 🇵🇭

❤️ Serbisyong May Malasakit

Honorable City Councilor Marty Romualdez immediately visited Simplicio “Tagoy” Servano, 73 years old, a pedicab driver from Barangay 109-A, V&G Subdivision, who suffered a stroke and is currently without family members available to provide him assistance.

Following the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Councilor Marty personally went to see Tatay Tagoy to check on his condition and extend much-needed help and support.

This simple act of personally reaching out demonstrates the value of compassionate public service being present for our constituents, especially senior citizens and vulnerable members of the community.

Serbisyo na may malasakit.
Tulong na umaabot sa nangangailangan.
Para sa bawat Taclobanon. ❤️
