In celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Bureau of Quarantine, the BOQ Tacloban Station, together with members of the local community, came together last night for a Community Fitness Run.

More than just a run, this activity reflects what BOQ stands for—
protecting the nation’s health, strengthening border health security, and promoting community resilience, starting with personal and collective responsibility for wellness.

For 126 years, BOQ has safeguarded the country at our ports of entry. Today, we continue that mission not only through policy and enforcement, but also by walking, running, and moving with the communities we serve.

We wish to inform the public that the supply of Yellow Fever vaccine is currently limited due to delays in the delivery of our latest procurement. This situation is beyond our control, but we understand the urgency and importance of this vaccine for those preparing to travel or requiring immunization.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to expedite the arrival of the vaccines and restore full availability as soon as possible.

Clients with confirmed flight schedules are respectfully advised to bring the following documents: POEA-approved employment contract and confirmed flight ticket for verification and appointment processing. Kindly proceed to BOQ-Manila or email us at [email protected].
