A temporary traffic route will be implemented inside Holy Cross Cemetery on November 8, 2025, for the morning mass in observance of the 12th Yolanda Commemoration. Motorists are advised to follow the designated one-way traffic flow and direction signs to ensure smooth movement within the cemetery grounds. 🚗⛪

Anibong Road will be temporarily closed to motorists from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on November 7, 2025, to give way to the mass at the Anibong Shipwreck Memorial. Drivers are advised to take Osmeña Avenue (Abucay Terminal) and Maharlika Highway as alternative routes going to and from the downtown area. Traffic flow will resume after the event. 🚧

In Celebration of Sagkahan Fiesta
October 24, 2025 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
In line with the celebration of the Sagkahan Fiesta, a temporary one-way traffic scheme will be implemented along Kalipayan Road, Bliss Road, and Elong Road on October 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Motorists may enter through the following points:
-Corner of Kokoy Romualdez Avenue and Kalipayan Road (near Primark)
-Corner of Kokoy Romualdez Avenue and Bliss Road (near Mitsubishi Motors)
-Corner of Calanipawan Road and Elong Road
Exit points from Sagkahan are as follows:
-Corner of Real Street and Kalipayan Road (near Dragon Oil)
-Corner of Real Street and Mangga Road (near Budget Hotel)
Please be informed that Calanipawan Road will remain open to two-way traffic throughout the duration of the traffic scheme.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and observe traffic signs and directions from traffic enforcers on duty.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Minor traffic rerouting will be implemented during the Filipino-American Friendship Day Fair Parade on Sunday, October 19, at 2:00 PM. All motor vehicles should stop at intersections and remain immobile while the parade is passing.
The parade will start and finish at the City Hall, passing through Magsaysay Boulevard, Justice Romualdez Street, Rizal Avenue, Avenida Veteranos/Imelda Avenue, Real Street, and back to Magsaysay Boulevard.

We would like to inform all Public Utility Drivers and Operators that the SCHEDULE for ROAD SAFETY SEMINAR will be on October 21-November 28, 2025 (except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holiday) 8:00am-12:00nn (1st batch) and 1:00pm-5:00pm (2nd batch) the said seminar will be held at Balyuan, Old CSWDO Building, Tacloban City. We will only accommodate 50 participants per batch, a total of 100 participants per day. This will be a first come, first served.

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER IMPLEMENTING A TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC SCHEME TO SOME PORTION OF THE STREETS OF SALAZAR, PATERNO, STA. CRUZ, JUAN LUNA, INDEPENDENCIA, T. CLAUDIO, AND MSGR. LINO GONZAGA AVENUE DURING RUSH HOURS IN THE MORNING, MONDAY TO FRIDAY EXCEPT ON SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND HOLIDAYS.
From 7:00am to 9:00am, Mondays to Fridays excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, a REGULATED ONE-WAY traffic scheme shall be implemented to the following portion of street, as follows:
a. Portion of Salazar Street (from corner Avenida Veteranos going towards Lino Gonzaga Avenue);
b. Msgr. Lino Gonzaga Avenue (from corner Salazar Street going towards Paterno Street);
c. Portion of Paterno Street (from corner Msgr. Lino Gonzaga Avenue going to Justice Romualdez Street);
d. Portion of T. Claudio Street (from corner Paterno Extension Street going towards corner Sto. Niño Street);
e. Portion of Independencia Street (from corner Real Street going towards corner Juan Luna Street);
f. Portion of Juan Luna Street (from corner Independencia Street going towards the whole stretch of Sta. Cruz Street); and

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | Please be advised that roads in the vicinity of the Dr. Vicente Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation (DVOREF), one of the Local Testing Centers for the 2025 Bar Examinations, will be subject to intermittent closure and traffic management guidelines on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025.
To ensure smooth flow of traffic along Calanipawan Road, designated drop-off areas have been provided for examinees. Vehicles will not be allowed to make U-turns within certain portions of the road.
The Office of the 2025 Bar Chairperson respectfully requests the cooperation and understanding of the public during this period. Motorists and commuters are advised to take alternative routes where possible and to follow the instructions of traffic enforcers stationed in the area.
