Homestay Excursion 2026 | Pacific Point Resort

Last April 30, 2026, the Volunteer Program happily treated our beloved homestays to a special excursion at Pacific Point Resort as our simple way of giving back for all the love, care, and support you have given throughout the years.

This day was not only an excursion, but also a celebration of birthdays, Mother’s Day, friendship, and appreciation for the people who have become the heart of our Volunteer Program.

To all our homestays, thank you for opening your homes and hearts to volunteers from different parts of the world. Thank you for the kindness, patience, understanding, and genuine care you continuously share. Because of you, many volunteers experience not just a place to stay, but a true Filipino family.

Your support through the years has helped create meaningful memories, cultural connections, and life-changing experiences for so many people. We are deeply grateful for everything you do behind the scenes — the warm meals, the conversations, the guidance, and the love you freely give.

Seeing everyone smile, laugh, relax, and enjoy the day together reminded us how blessed we are to have such wonderful homestays as part of our community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey with us. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can express.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers, and happy birthday to our celebrant Nanay Pipay!

15 April 2026 || Sto. Nino Gymnasium || Parents Re-orientation and Meeting

This day marked the yearly refresher orientation and meeting, held for the parents of all sponsored kids residing in Sto. Nino, Tacloban City. It was conducted in the morning.

The orientation tackled the Child Sponsorship Program's Policies and Rules. It was followed by the meeting proper, wherein parents could ask questions and clarify matters they didn't fully understand.

Parents who could not attend the orientation were subbed by a family member or the sponsored child old enough to grasp the subject matter being discussed.

The Child Sponsorship Program would like to thank all sponsors! You make an invaluable contribution to the welfare and wellbeing of these children.

Laro ng Lahi: Celebrating Filipino Culture Through Play

Last March 21, 2026, at VFV Bliss, laughter, joy, and cultural pride filled the day as our volunteers from College Saint Anne joined our Sponsored Children for a meaningful Laro ng Lahi activity.

Together, they played traditional Filipino games that have been passed down through generations—bringing back the beauty of simple joys and the richness of our culture.

From running, cheering, and friendly competition to teamwork and encouragement, every moment was filled with smiles and unforgettable memories.

More than just games, the activity became a bridge of connection—uniting hearts, cultures, and friendships. It was truly inspiring to witness our children and volunteers sharing genuine happiness through play.

Thank you so much College Saint Anne for the energy, kindness, and enthusiasm. To our Sponsored Children, thank you for your bright smiles that made the day extra special.

To our local volunteers, college scholars and to our Sponsorship Program Coordinators a big “thank you” for making this activity successful.

Let’s continue to keep our Filipino traditions alive—one game, one smile, and one memory at a time.

Last March 14, 2026, our wonderful volunteers from College St. Anne experienced a meaningful and heartwarming Project Tour in Tacloban and Cangumbang, Palo, Leyte.

The day became even more special as our sponsored children proudly showcased a vibrant Cultural Dance Presentation — a beautiful expression of the rich heritage and traditions of the Philippines. Through every graceful movement and colorful costume, the children brought to life the stories of our ancestors, highlighting the importance of preserving Filipino folk dances for future generations.

More than just a performance, it was a powerful moment of cultural exchange — where our volunteers witnessed firsthand the joy, talent, and pride of the community. Smiles were shared, connections were strengthened, and hearts were touched.

Thank you, College St. Anne volunteers, for embracing our culture and for being part of this unforgettable experience. I would also like to say "Thank you" to our Sponsorship Program Coordinators, college scholars, sponsored children and local volunteers for making the activity successful.

Together, we continue to celebrate diversity, build friendships, and inspire hope across communities. ❤
