The Lupong Tagapamayapa of Barangay 95 (Caibaan), Tacloban City, successfully conducted its regular monthly meeting last Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Headed by our Punong Barangay Ma. Lo**ta Quiambao, the session focused on reviewing the updates of ongoing cases, maintaining efficient documentation under the Katarungang Pambarangay Law, and ensuring that peaceful mediation remains our community's first line of justice.

Last May 30, 2026, the Barangay 95 Caibaan Lupon Members successfully conducted their monthly meeting to discuss and address community concerns, settle local disputes, and ensure the continuous peace and order of our barangay.

​Being declared the back-to-back Regional Winner for the CY 2025 and 2026 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) is a testament to the hard work of our Lupon members and the cooperation of our constituents. This milestone would not have been possible without the guidance of the DILG and the City Government of Tacloban in fostering peace and justice at the grassroots level.

Rest assured, Mayor, that Barangay 95 will continue to uphold the principles of mediation and conflict resolution to ensure a peaceful and orderly community for all Taclobanons.

Earlier today, April 30, 2026, our Lupon Secretary, Mr. Leo Yape , represented Brgy. 95 Caibaan in a successful pre-conference Zoom meeting with the Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR) - Manila.

​ The meeting focused on the preparations for the upcoming city-wide training, specifically discussing:
​✅ The overall program flow.
​✅ Our allotted time to share the Best Practices of our Lupong Tagapamayapa.
​✅ Key expectations for the upcoming three-day session.

We are excited and honored to bring our experiences to the table for the:
"Course on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mechanisms"

📢 ALAMIN ANG BATAS: MGA KRIMINAL NA KASO SA ILALIM NG KATARUNGANG PAMBARANGAY
Alam niyo ba na ayon sa RA 7160 (Sec. 408), ang mga sumusunod na paglabag sa Revised Penal Code (na in-update ng RA 10951) ay dapat munang dumaan sa areglo o mediation sa ating Barangay bago ito dalhin sa korte?

Narito ang ilang halimbawa ng mga kasong kriminal na sakop ng ating Lupon:

Uri ng Paglabag (Offense): Alarms and Scandals (Art. 155)
Deskripsyon: Paglikha ng gulo, ingay, o pagpapanic sa pampublikong lugar.
Parusa / Multa: Arresto Menor o multa na hindi hihigit sa P40,000.

Uri ng Paglabag (Offense): Using False Certificates (Art. 175)
Deskripsyon: Paggamit ng mga pekeng sertipiko o palsipikadong dokumento.
Parusa / Multa: Arresto Menor.

Uri ng Paglabag (Offense): Using Fictitious Names & Concealing True Name (Art. 178)
Deskripsyon: Pagpapanggap na ibang tao o pagtatago ng tunay na pangalan at pagkakakilanlan.
Parusa / Multa: Arresto Menor o multa na hindi hihigit sa P40,000.

Uri ng Paglabag (Offense): Illegal Use of Uniforms or Insignias (Art. 179)
Deskripsyon: Pagsusuot ng uniporme o tsapa ng mga awtoridad (gaya ng pulis o sundalo) nang walang pahintulot.
Parusa / Multa: Arresto Mayor.

💡 Bakit kailangang dumaan sa Barangay?
Layunin ng ating Katarungang Pambarangay na mapanatili ang pagkakaunawaan sa ating komunidad at mabigyan ng mabilis na solusyon ang mga maliliit na hidwaan nang hindi na kinakailangan pang gumastos ng malaki sa korte.
