Tacloban City ENRO

𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒

The City ENRO was invited to share about the current status of the watersheds of Tacloban City during the World Water Day Forum on March 26, 2026 at the Camansihay Covered Court, Brgy. 98, Tacloban City. This was spearheaded by the Leyte Metropolitan Water District (LMWD) with the theme: Tubig ay Buhay, Babae ang Kaagapay.

By presenting the latest status of our watersheds, we aim to empower every citizen, especially the women, to take action.

When we protect our forests and streams, we protect the future of every household.

𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒

The City ENRO joined the Barangay Assembly of Brgy. 77, Tacloban City last Sunday, March 15, 2026. We had a great discussion on the salient features of environment-related ordinances such as the Anti-Littering, Solid Waste Management, Plastic and Styrofoam Packaging Regulation Ordinances, and how these can protect our local ecosystem.

Turning these ordinances into action is a great step toward a cleaner and greener Tacloban.

𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒

The City ENRO provided seedlings of various indigenous species for the Tree Planting Activity of the Tacloban City Fire Station in line with their celebration of the Fire Prevention Month, last Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Brgy. 104, Salvacion, Tacloban City.

Taking part in this activity is a good reminder that fire prevention is also about creating a cooler, greener and more resilient environment.

If you are a stakeholder, or simply a concerned individual, this is your chance to hear and raise concerns on the proposed Integration of Alternative High Thermal Decomposition Machine into the SWM Project by the City Government of Tacloban to be located at Barangay 100 San Roque, Tacloban City, Leyte.

The public scoping will be on Monday, 09 March 2026, at the Gymnasium, Barangay 100 San Roque, Tacloban City.
